Come to Cub Leader Basic Training and get all of the information that you need to have a safe, fun program of Scouting with Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos.

Get this cool "Trained" patch to wear on your shirt!

Who can come:

First: Fast Start Training

Check with your Cubmaster or the Scout Office (750-9868) for the Fast Start Tape
Or
Go to the Fast Start Training Online

Then:

Attend either training date:

Sat. Sept 8, 2001
8:00 AM until 2:00 PM

Cub Leader Basic Training: Check-In begins at 7:30 am.
This will be the New Leader Essentials training, Program-Specific sessions for Cub-related Programs (Tigers, Cubs, Webelos, Cubmasters, and Committee), plus Youth Protection Training

October 9 and 16, 2001
Split Session of Cub Leader Basic Training: Check-In begins at 6:15
  • Part 1: Tuesday October 9, 2001  6:30 to 9:30 pm
    This will be the New Leader Essentials plus Youth Protection Training (both required for all leaders in all programs) Part 2 will be next week and is for Tiger/Cub/Webelos programs only. Scout/Venture/Explorer sessions will be offered at another time.
  • Part 2: Tuesday October 16, 2001   6:30 to 9:30 pm
    This will be the program-specific section (Tigers, Cubs, Webelos, Cubmasters, and Committee).

    Cost:

    Small Fee per person TBA for Cub Leader Basic (Fast Start is free), payable in advance at the Scout Shop, or register by phone (Joan Janoch 345-5700) and then pay at the door. Advance Registration is preferred. Please let us know that you are coming, so that we may have enough handouts and patches available.



    Besides all of the free stuff you will be getting, we also will have Leader Resources on sale at the training, including the Cub Scout How-To Book (a personal favorite), new revised Wolf and Bear books, Webelos Books, Den Chief Books, and Leader Manuals.
