Pack 215's Virtual Leader Handbook Don DeYoung has set up a stellar site that covers all aspects of Cub Scouting. The most helpful set of pages in his site is the Virtual Cub Leader Handbook. Here you will find up-to-date information on Cub handbook changes almost before they hit the shelves. He also compares the new and old handbooks, most useful information when you need it. And Don also has clip-art, activities, and so very much more.

MacScouter The most thorough of all the sites, there are links here to skits, songs, games, other units, other scouting sites ..... well, just too much to enter here. You have to see it for yourself! Check here first.

Boy Scouts of America National Site The Official site for Boy Scouts of America. Check out the Online Electronic Learning Center for Leaders, Parents, and Scouters.

Guide to Safe Scouting There is a section for viewing Online and one for Downloading the current G2SS for reading offline and taking with you when you go on a trip (required on your Tour Permit). A bound hard-copy version (BSA Supply #34416A) is also available through the Inidan Waters Council Scout Shop.

US Scouting Service Project The U.S. Scouting Service Project (USSSP for short) gathers as much reference material as possible about scouting and posts it for public access. Go here for software, fonts, skits, songs, graphics, and much much more. A great site for up-to-date information.


Scouts NetCompass at Scouter.com Scouter's NetCompass has over 12,000 links to all things Scouting.

US Scouting the Net "Scouting the Net" is a hot-links page that has just about everything that you could want in resources for Scouting.

Baloo's Bugle Welcome to Baloo's Bugle, your online Cub Scout Roundtable featuring monthly program hints for Cub Scouters!! This is a great resource for Cub Scouts, Tiger Cubs, Webelos , and other youth groups, too. Full of fun, games, skits, humor, and songs, this newsletter is edited by my good friend Chris in Alabama . This non-Scouting site is a great resource for leaders, SPLs, and PLs. Over 500 games listed in an easy to find format. Plus see the Camping Games page for 250+ C games to play while camping.

Scout Orienteering This is a great site. It even has a lesson plan on how to counsel the merit badge. Using a compass and map is a Boy Scout Skill that takes some practice. Scouting Online This is a not-for-profit site, and it is very useful.Another great all-around resource with links to other sources

The Flag of the United States This site will give you all the information that you need to know about Flag Ettiquette, including proper ceremonies and display, disposing of the flag, and patriotic speeches that make excellent Scoutmaster Minutes.

Pack 114 Library Barb Stephens has put up an excellent resource for den leaders and cub scouts. She has games, word searches, crafts, and much more at this excellent site.

The Scout Songbook South Africa Scouting Web site has a great number of songs that you may (or may not) recognize.  See also this list of Songbook sites.

Gather Around A Campfire and listen to some stories and sing some songs. A good link from Troop 925 in Kensington, Maryland.

The Knots Index  A great source for information on different knots and how to tie them. See also the Scouting the Net Knots Links page

Get Knotted! The Animated Knots Page  Want to know how to tie that knot?   This is the site to visit. Great animations (mini-movies) on all aspects of knot tying.
